To end our visual survey of the Football Alliance's member clubs for the upcoming season, today we feature another team of newcomers to the league as such, Birkenhead's very own Torpedo Tranmere, who will begin life in the Second Division.
They take their name with reference to the submarine-building history of the shipbuilding company to whom the club is affiliated, having previously been known as Tranmere Rovers, original members of the Fourth Division of the inaugural Alliance back in 1980, before finishing bottom of the reorganized northern section of the Fourth and losing their place in 1984.
With all 32 clubs' colours now represented, all there is to do is look forward to the opening round of league fixtures for 2015-16, this coming Saturday, 5th September - see you then for the results round-up.
